Analytics
Every site you host gets built-in traffic analytics, with nothing to add to your code. Every plan sees the overview; Plus and Pro see who your visitors are and where they come from.
Open analytics for a site
Open the site on your dashboard and choose Analytics under Insights. Pick a range at the top — the last 7 days on every plan, 30 days on Plus and 90 days on Pro.
What each plan shows
| Section | Shows | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Overview | Total views, views today and the daily average, with the change from the previous period, over a chart | Every plan |
| Unique visitors | Each visitor counted once in the range | Plus and Pro |
| Audience | Countries (from the visitor's IP address), devices, browsers and operating systems | Plus and Pro |
| Traffic | The sites and social networks that send visitors | Plus and Pro |
| Top Pages | The 10 pages opened most | Plus and Pro |
| Cities | The top cities in each country, in Audience | Pro |
| Search engines | Visits from each search engine in Traffic | Pro |
| Peak Hours | Views by hour of the day, and your busiest hour | Pro |
Range and history

|---|---|---|---|
| Longest range | 7 days | 30 days | 90 days |

The range is also how much history is kept: 7 days of views on Free, 30 on Plus and 90 on Pro. Export on Plus or Pro if you want to keep more.
How views are counted
- A view is a page load. Images, scripts and other files don't count, and neither do addresses that don't exist (404s) or known bots.
- Unique visitors are counted once per day each.
- There is no script for you to add: Dplooy counts views for every site it hosts, as it serves them.
- Numbers can differ from Google Analytics, because the two count differently — ad blockers, for example, stop Google's script from running.
Add Google Analytics
On Plus and Pro you can add Google Analytics 4 alongside the built-in numbers. Copy your GA4 Measurement ID — it looks like G-XXXXXXXXXX — then open the site, choose Google Analytics under Insights, paste the ID and save.
- The tracking script is added to every HTML page of that site for you; nothing changes in your files.
- Each site has its own ID, so separate sites can report to separate GA properties.
- Data shows up in Google Analytics within a day or so. Remove the ID at any time to stop it.
