A Booking CalendarThat Looks Like Your Site

Appointments and reservations for your website — not someone else's iframe. Visitors request your open times, you approve from a real calendar, and the engine can never double-book.

Two-line embedYou approve every bookingNo per-seat pricing

Booked like a phone call, minus the phone

These businesses already vet every booking — Dplooy Bookings keeps that control and removes the back-and-forth. A request holds its slot, you say yes or no, done.

1

Set your hours

Create a booking — appointments or reservations — and set weekly hours, slot length, capacity and how far ahead people can book.

2

Embed the calendar

Paste two lines of HTML where the calendar should appear, or use the AI prompt to restyle it to match your site exactly.

3

Requests come to you

Visitors pick a time and send a request. It appears in your dashboard calendar and holds its slot immediately.

4

You approve

One tap to approve or decline — like vetting a phone booking. The visitor's private link shows them the decision.

Your design. Our engine.

The booking itself — checking availability, taking the request, handling the “just taken” moment — is the part that must never break. So that part is always ours, tested and identical on every site. The looks are entirely yours.

1

Drop it in

Two lines of HTML render a complete, working booking calendar with a clean default look. That's the whole integration.

2

Or restyle it with AI

Copy the ready-made AI prompt and paste it into ChatGPT, Claude or whichever tool built your site. It tells the AI to make the calendar match your design — your fonts, your colors — and nothing else.

“The booking calendar already works — don't rebuild it. Just style it so it looks like it was designed for this site.”

The engine stays ours

Showing the right open times, taking the request, handling two people after the same slot, cancellations — the same dependable system runs underneath, no matter how the calendar looks on top.

How a booking actually happens

Follow one Friday night, from Rosa setting her hours to Dan getting his table — both sides of the same booking.

1
Rosa, the owner

Rosa creates her booking

Rosa runs a small restaurant. In her dashboard she clicks Features in the top bar, chooses Bookings, then New booking. She names it “Dinner Reservations”, picks Reservations (several tables per time, rather than one appointment at a time) and clicks Create booking.

2
Rosa, the owner

She sets her hours and tables

She lands straight in Settings. She adds hours of 5:00pm–10:00pm to Tuesday through Sunday and leaves Monday empty (closed), sets Slot length to 30 minutes, Tables per slot to 6, and Visitors can cancel until 2 hours before. She clicks Save settings. Five minutes, once.

3
Rosa, the owner

She puts the calendar on her website

She clicks the </> button and copies the two lines into her page where the calendar should appear — or clicks the robot button instead and pastes that prompt into ChatGPT so the calendar comes out in her fonts and colors. Then she clicks New Website Hosting, uploads the page, and back in Bookings picks it from Choose a project and clicks Assign. It's live.

4
Dan, her guest

Dan wants a table on Friday

Dan finds Rosa's website on his phone. Instead of a phone number, he sees a calendar — Mondays greyed out because she's closed. He taps Friday, then 7:00pm, which is still open. No account, no app.

5
Dan, her guest

He sends his request in seconds

He types his name, phone, email and party of four, adds "window table if possible", and taps Request booking. The screen tells him honestly it's a request, not a confirmation — and hands him a private link to track it. He taps add to calendar so the booking, and the link, live in his phone's calendar.

6
Rosa, the owner

Rosa approves between services

Dan's request is sitting in her Pending requests list, already holding its table so nobody else can take it. She taps the to approve — or the to decline. If someone had raced Dan for the last table, only one of them would have gotten it; the other would have been offered another time on the spot.

7
Dan, her guest

Dan's link now says confirmed

He opens his link — or pastes it into "Already booked? Check or cancel your reservation" right on Rosa's website — and sees Confirmed. Plans change? He cancels himself, up to Rosa's 2-hour cutoff, and the table frees up for someone else automatically.

Rosa, the owner

Friday, 4:45pm: she prints the day sheet

Rosa opens Settings, picks today's date in Export bookings and clicks PDF day sheet: the whole evening in time order — names, party sizes, phone numbers, notes — printed for the host stand. No third-party app, no per-cover fee, no one between her and her guests.

Everything a small business needs to get booked

No accounts for your visitors, no per-seat fees for you, no iframe on your carefully designed page.

Can't Double-Book

Availability is checked the instant someone books. Two people going for the last table at the same moment? Exactly one gets it — always.

Looks Like Your Site

No boxed-in window with someone else's logo. The calendar takes on your site's look — pick your color, or let AI restyle it completely.

A Real Calendar

Day, week and month views with a pending queue. Approve, decline, cancel, and block out holidays — all from your dashboard.

Built for AI Builders

One copy-paste prompt is all your AI needs — it makes the calendar beautiful while the booking itself keeps running on our tested system.

Fake Bookings Get Nowhere

Because you approve everything, a prankster filling your calendar with fake names confirms nothing — clear them out with a few taps.

Printable Day Sheets

Export any range as CSV, or print the evening's bookings as a PDF day sheet for the host stand — time-ordered, with party sizes and notes.

Built for businesses whose website exists to get booked

Appointments (one at a time) or reservations (several per slot) — one engine, your rules.

Restaurant tables

Six tables per half hour, party sizes, and a printed day sheet for the host stand. Approve from your phone between services.

Salons & studios

One chair, one slot. Set a lead time so nobody books ten minutes from now, and a cutoff so cancellations don't blindside you.

Clinics & practices

Appointment requests you vet before confirming — exactly how your front desk already works, minus the phone tag.

Consultants & services

Discovery calls, tutoring, lessons, site visits — publish your real availability and stop the back-and-forth emails.

One booking engine, whatever you run

A free Calendly alternative you can actually embed

Most booking tools charge a separate monthly fee per person and give you a widget that clearly belongs to them, not to you. Dplooy Bookings comes included with your website hosting plan — no extra subscription, no per-booking fees — and the calendar becomes part of your page, styled to match the site you worked hard on. If you've been searching for a free Calendly alternative to embed on your website, this is that, built into the same place your site already lives.

A reservation system for your restaurant's website

Set your dinner hours, how many tables fit in each half hour, and how big a party you'll take. Guests pick a time on your website and send a request with their name, phone number and party size — and it waits for your approval, exactly like a phone reservation. Before service, print the evening's bookings as a one-page day sheet for the host stand. No per-cover fees, no third-party app between you and your guests.

Appointment booking for salons, clinics and consultants

One chair, one slot. Publish your real weekly availability, require as much notice as you need, and let clients request appointments straight from your website instead of playing phone tag. You stay in control — every appointment is a request until you approve it, and clients can cancel themselves up to a cutoff you choose.

Works on simple websites — including ones made with AI

You don't need a complicated website platform to take bookings online. Dplooy Bookings works on plain HTML pages, sites built with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude, and anything made in our Site Builder. Paste two short lines where the calendar should go, publish your site, and you're taking booking requests — it's the easiest way to add a booking calendar to a website you already have.

Frequently asked questions

What is Dplooy Bookings?

A booking calendar built into your Dplooy dashboard. You set your weekly hours, slot length and capacity; a widget on your website shows visitors the open times; and every request lands in your dashboard calendar for you to approve or decline. Nothing is confirmed until you say so — the same way you'd vet a phone booking.

How is this different from Calendly or other booking widgets?

Two big ways. First, the calendar becomes part of your page — it can be styled to match your website's colors and fonts, instead of sitting in a boxed-in window with someone else's branding. Second, there's no separate monthly bill and no per-user pricing: bookings are included with Dplooy's Plus and Pro website hosting plans, making it a genuinely free Calendly alternative for anyone already hosting with us.

Can it double-book?

No. Availability is checked at the exact moment someone sends a request — if two people go for the last table at the same time, only one gets it, and the other is immediately shown 'that time was just taken' with the other open times. A request also holds its spot while it waits for your approval, so saying yes can never overbook your evening.

How do visitors know when they're confirmed?

Every request comes with a private booking link — shown on the confirmation screen and saved into their calendar app via the 'Add to calendar' file. They can open it anytime, or paste it into the booking calendar's built-in 'check your reservation' view right on your website, to see the live status — pending, confirmed, or declined — and cancel up to your cutoff. There's no email in the loop, and the screens say so honestly.

Does it handle restaurant tables, not just appointments?

Yes. A reservations calendar accepts several bookings per time slot — you set how many tables fit in each one — and asks visitors for their party size. An appointments calendar takes one booking per slot, for salons, consultants, clinics and services.

What stops someone from booking every slot with fake names?

Approval mode is the structural answer: nothing is confirmed until you approve it, and a flooded queue is cleared by declining. On top of that, requests are rate-limited per visitor with a small daily cap per person, a hidden spam trap filters bots, and pending requests auto-expire once their time passes. No booking product fully solves fake requests without SMS verification — we're honest about that — but squatting a moderated queue accomplishes nothing.

Can visitors cancel?

Yes, from their manage link, up to a cutoff you control (for example, 2 hours before). Inside the cutoff the page tells them to contact you instead. You can always cancel any booking from your dashboard calendar, any time.

Does it work on websites made with ChatGPT or other AI tools?

Perfectly — it's built for them. You paste two short lines into your page and a working booking calendar appears. Want it to match your site's look? Copy our ready-made AI prompt into ChatGPT, Claude or whichever tool built your site — it tells the AI exactly how to make the calendar beautiful without touching how bookings actually work, so nothing can break.

What happens when I change my opening hours?

New hours apply to future requests only. Existing bookings are never moved, cancelled or lost — ones that no longer fit your new schedule stay visible in the calendar's day view so you can handle them personally.

Can I block out a holiday or a private event?

Yes — block a whole day or a time range from the calendar. Blocked slots show as unavailable on your site immediately. Unblock them just as easily.

Can I get a printed list for the host stand?

Yes. Export any date range as a CSV, or as a printable PDF day sheet — the evening's bookings in time order with names, party sizes and notes. Bookings are kept for a month after their date, so export before then if you need long-term records.
