A deploy method, not a workaround

Host a Claude artifactas a real website

Paste the artifact's published link. We fetch the page and put it on your own subdomain with free SSL — no download, no ZIP, no build step.

A published artifact isn't quite a website

Claude's Publish button is genuinely useful — it just hands you a claude.ai link, not a site you own. Here is what changes when you host it.

A published artifact link

  • Lives on claude.ai, under a random ID
  • No custom domain, ever
  • No analytics — you never know who opened it
  • Not indexable by search engines
  • Reads as a chat output, not as your product

The same artifact, hosted here

  • Lives at yourname.dplooy.com — or your own domain
  • Free SSL, global delivery, no sign-in wall
  • Views, visitors, countries and referrers
  • robots.txt and sitemap.xml generated for you
  • Editable later without touching Claude again

Three steps, about a minute

1

Publish the artifact in Claude

Open the chat where Claude built it and click the artifact to open it in the side panel. Click Publish, and Claude gives you a public link that looks like claude.ai/public/artifacts/…

2

Paste the link into dplooy

On your dashboard, click Deploy Claude artifact and paste the link. Pick a name for your subdomain, or leave it blank and we name it after the artifact.

3

Your site is live

We fetch the page, scan it, and host it at yourname.dplooy.com over HTTPS. It opens for anyone, on any device, with no Claude account and no sign-in wall.

Single-file HTML artifacts only

Most pages Claude builds are already a single HTML file. If yours is a React component, ask Claude to convert the artifact to a single self-contained HTML file, publish that version, and paste its link instead.

What the hosted version gives you

It stops being a chat output and starts behaving like every other site you host here.

Your own subdomain

yourname.dplooy.com instead of a claude.ai link nobody recognises. Point a custom domain at it on Pro.

Free SSL, always on

Every site is served over HTTPS with a certificate we manage. Nothing to buy, configure or renew.

Real analytics

See views, unique visitors, countries, referrers and devices — none of which a shared artifact link can tell you.

Findable in search

We generate robots.txt and sitemap.xml for the site, so it can be indexed like any other page. Artifact links cannot.

Editable after publishing

Change text, images and colours directly on the live page with the visual editor, on any plan. Pro adds a full code editor.

Private when you need it

Password-protect the whole site on Pro — handy for client work you are not ready to show the world.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to download the HTML first?

No. That is the whole point of this method. dplooy fetches the artifact directly from its public link, so there is no download, no zipping and no re-upload. If you would rather do it manually you still can — download the .html file from Claude and use the Single HTML file upload instead.

Which artifacts can be hosted?

Single-file HTML artifacts. That covers most pages Claude builds — landing pages, calculators, dashboards, games, documentation. If Claude built a React component instead, ask it to convert the artifact to a single self-contained HTML file, publish that version, and paste its link.

Does my visitor need a Claude account?

No. Once the site is hosted on dplooy it is an ordinary web page on your own subdomain. Anyone can open it — no Claude account, no sign-in, no rate limits, and it works in every browser.

Is it free?

Yes, on the free plan. You get 3 hosted projects, free SSL and analytics. Sites on the free plan are removed after 3 days; Plus and Pro sites stay up indefinitely, and Pro adds custom domains and password protection.

What happens if I change the artifact in Claude later?

The hosted site is a snapshot taken at import time, so it does not change underneath you. If you update the artifact in Claude, import the new link to publish it again — or just edit the live page directly in dplooy with the visual editor.

Can I use my own domain name?

Yes, on Pro. Connect any domain you own, add the DNS records we show you, and your artifact-built site answers on your own address with SSL.

Is the page checked for anything?

Every page we host is scanned for malware and phishing patterns before it goes live, exactly like an uploaded HTML file. It is the same pipeline as every other deploy method on dplooy.

Your artifact deserves a real address
